Last night I dreamt I watched some content again.

Before anything else: Things are so bad in Texas. If you have any spare change, consider donating some. The Texas Jail Project isn’t on that list but is the only thing I can find dealing with prisons so here it is. Two women’s / domestic violence shelters: Genesis Women’s Shelter and The Family Place. AOC has a group donation here.

None of the above links are what I’d call “thoroughly vetted”—do your own research if you want to know the ins and outs of the charities before donating—but it’s a place to start.

As with so many things part of the story in Texas is how Americans step up to take care of each other when they’re failed by their governments. But it’s also about the limitations of that (you can’t GoFundMe out of having no electricity or water). Something’s better than nothing though. Anyway this is more important than the rest of this newsletter.
