Lately I’ve found myself drifting toward a kind of low key but cute aesthetic. By “low key” I mean that there’s a style of cuteness that involves going full adult Barbie/Lisa Frank that I respect but, despite my enjoyment of exaggerated clothes, do not especially want to wear. It is the difference between this pink pair of Converse sneakers and, like, these:

actually i probably would wear these but like, once, for A Look, i think they’re hilarious. i wouldn’t buy them though.
