I've read some reasonable fraction (about 90% probably) of her short stories and indeed they are remarkable. The long late outpouring of stories written in her 80s -- stories about war and bird people and living in the West -- may be without equal for writers of that age. Of her novels, besides the two you mention, I very much like her two Westerns, Ledoyt and Leaping Man Hill. (My review of Ledoyt is here: https://rrhorton.blogspot.com/2023/05/review-ledoyt-by-carol-emshwiller.html, and it has a link to Le Guin's review of the same novel.)

(Alas I can't read your whole review.)
I unfortunately borrow somebody else's WaPo login so I don't want to inadvertently use up her gift links… but I can email you a PDF if you want it.
Dang, paperback only. Shipping from US is a PITA.
